Mr. Deryck Russell: Vice President

Mr. Russell is an Attorney-at-Law and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and an MBA (Finance and Marketing) from the University of the West Indies.

 

He started his career with National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited as a Legal Counsel and brings over two decades of legal experience to the position having provided legal advice to the Bank’s Management team at all levels. Mr. Russell was also Assistant General Manager (Corporate Banking Division) and also brings a wealth of financial expertise to the board, having been part of a team that provided financial solutions for a number of large corporate customers of the bank.

Mr. Lance Anderson: Treasurer

Mr. Anderson is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of broad, in-depth experience in the banking and financial services industry. He has a track record for applying pragmatic financial, treasury and risk management skills to improve company efficiency and profitability. Proven expertise in accounting concepts, policies, principles, practices and highly proficient in the area of Risk Management & Compliance.

 

He holds is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (FCA) and holds a M.Sc. degree in Accounting and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Management Studies both at the University of the West Indies, Mona.

 

Mr. Anderson is a Past President of Kiwanis Club of Eastern Kingston & Port Royal. He also likes jogging and reading (financial publications and biographies)

Mrs. Latoya Morgan-Clarke: Assistant Treasurer

Mrs. Morgan-Clarke is a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of professional experience in banking and finance. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (CA) and the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI). She has expertise in Financial Planning, Budgetary Controlling and Financial Analysis. 

 

Mrs. Morgan-Clarke is currently the Regional Capex Analyst at an international Telecoms Company. She enjoys hiking and general outdoor activities.

Mrs. Pauline Nelson: Secretary

Mrs. Nelson is a communication specialist who has expertise in the following:

  • Public Relations & Visibility
  • Special Projects, Events & Promotions
  • Development & Production of Annual Reports Staff Newsletters & Other Publications (electronic & printed)
  • Website development and maintenance

She has over 25 years of experience in the highly competitive field of Communications.  Her work experience is wide and varied, having successfully worked and undertaken assignments in the areas of: commercial banking and finance, developmental banking; project management and proposal writing for international development funding, tourism, sports management and communications and entertainment management

 Mrs. Nelson is a member of the International Association of Business Communications (IABC), which allows her to use the designation ABC having qualified under their international training programme. She is certified in Project Management Practices from the Mona School of Business, UWI and hopes to embark on her qualification for Project Management Professional
